One of my absolute favourite live music venues, proper rock place, although I have seen more folky artists there as well. Fantastic staff. No realistic parking, so park in York road carpark which is 5 minutes away.

Great small music venue. Intimate would be a good word.. Of course James Taylor Quartet are going to be good anywhere.. but still, the venue is excellent, can't wait to get back.

The boiler room is a fantastic small local music venue. When a few hundred people are packed into the tiny space you get a real buzzy atmosphere. The bar staff are friendly and efficient. There is also a nice patio area outside which is ideal to cool down on warm nights.

We had an amazing anniversary party at the Boileroom. Char, Bryce and the sound guy were so helpful, professional and friendly, the whole night was chilled and fun. So many of our guests appreciated how friendly Bryce and his bar team were. Our 2 bands said the sound guy was amazing and made the set up, band change and mixing so easy. We asked Paella Fella to do the food, that was great. Char and Bryce made sure they had everything they needed. Can't recommend enough for a well organised but fun night.

What a fantastic venue! Saw The Lottery Winners there Sunday afternoon and they as always were great. Loved the venue, four stars only as a "bit hot!" to say the least!

A cool venue with posters all over the walls and ceilings. They do not provide glasses and you will buy your own plastic cup for 1.50 (not refundable). It's cashless and there are toilets on site. I had a great night there and will go again

We go here for the music, it's a fantastic little grass roots venue attracting much bigger names than you might expect for its size. It's hot, crowded, and loud, everything it should be! Food has always been pretty good too when we've eaten before the gig.

I went to see Ariel Posen on his first day of tour in the UK, he clearly felt at home in the Boileroom and I believe it’s a very special place for a lot of musicians. The atmosphere was great in this urban looking pub/cultural establishment. Cons: the drinks price is a bit on the high side (over 8 for a pint)
